Performance of NoSQL Graph Implementations of Star vs. Snowflake Schemas

Nowadays, the data used for decision-making come from a wide variety of sources which are difficult to manage using relational databases. To address this problem, many researchers have turned Not only SQL (NoSQL) databases provide scalability and flexibility On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) systems. In paper, we propose set formal rules convert multidimensional model into graph (MDM2G). These allow conventional star snowflake schemas fit NoSQL We apply proposed implement star-like snowflake-like warehouses. compare their performances similar ones focusing on model, dimensionality, size. The experimental results show large differences between implementations warehouse. A implementation performs better queries couple tables, but conversely, is when involve tables.
